Individual room pricing is available on our Pet Parent Portal.
At Fantastic Fido’s we offer our cabins if you’re wanting something a little more luxurious for your dog. Each cabin includes a raised cot, an area rug, and lots of space to stretch out. Also, each door has a full-sized glass window to check out the action, too!
The Doggie Den rooms are spacious enclosures with comfy beds and blankets and link fence gates. These Dens are 3×5 feet, giving your dog plenty of space during their stay. Our Doggie Dens can hold two large sized breeds. We provide beds and blankets so they are comfortable.
The Pup Tents are sturdy and safe stainless-steel enclosures suitable for dogs of most sizes. These are fit to size and offer plenty of room for most breeds.
Treat your dog like a VIP with our VIP Boarding Program. You choose one of the following ways to pamper your pup! You can choose from: a private walk, private one-on-one play, treadmill, room service, or training brush-ups (for past training clients).
Dog Boarding FAQ
Are there age requirements to board my pup?
Age: We accept non-aggressive indoor dogs over the age of three months who have been approved for boarding. If your dog is younger than three months, give us a call to discuss.
We must have a boarding application/agreement on file prior to boarding your dog. We’ll need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records faxed from your veterinarian (816-364-0236) at least 48 hours in advance.
All dogs must have a flat nylon collar with a name tag. Dogs without a name tag and a flat collar will be charged $5 per tag/collar provided. No outside bedding and bowls is allowed; Fantastic Fido’s will provide appropriate supplies for each dog. Food must be in an airtight container. Purchase of an air-tight container will be required at the time of check-in if not provided. Toys must be clean. Dogs may have a bone but no rawhide.
Dogs boarding during the holidays/holiday weekends will be charged an additional rate of $3.00 per dog. These dates include: MLK Weekend, President’s Day Weekend, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
We require that all pet owners provide a veterinarian receipt at least 48 hours prior to boarding or daycare to prove the dog is current on the following:
- Distemper (DHLPP)
- Bordatella (Kennel Cough)
Flea and Tick Prevention
All animals accepted for Boarding or Daycare must be on monthly flea and tick prevention such as Frontline, Fiproguard, or Advantage or equally high-quality products.*If a dog must be treated for fleas, ticks, extreme matting or other grooming related conditions that are deemed medically necessary by Fantastic Fido’s management it will be completed immediately at the cost of the owner.
Spay/Neuter: We accept most unaltered dogs under the condition that the dog will be allowed in playgroups under our discretion; these dogs may not be eligible for social group. We reserve the right to decline unaltered dogs for any reason. Unfixed females in heat will not be accepted. If your dog is unaltered please call.
Medications and Veterinary Care
If your pet requires medication, please provide a detailed list of medications and dosages and we will be glad to administer them. Please note that medications need to be in the original bottle dispensed by your veterinarian.
Special Needs and Geriatric Pets
We appreciate and cater to guests with special needs. Geriatric pets, physical handicaps, select medical conditions/medication, separation anxiety, special diets or allergies, fear of thunder or fireworks…the list goes on and on! Additional fees may be required, depending upon the severity of needs. Also, it is important to understand that while we are very experienced pet care providers with basic life-saving training, we are not a veterinary clinic and in some cases, your pet may be safer with an in-home boarding program or staying at a vet’s office during your absence. Call to discuss.
