Leaving your dog for their first boarding stay can feel a little overwhelming, especially if you aren’t sure what to expect. Preparing ahead of time can help make the experience easier for both you and your dog.
What Should I Pack?
We ask that owners provide their dog’s regular food in an airtight container for their stay. Treats and toys are welcome, but rawhide is not permitted during boarding stays. We provide all bedding and food and water bowls for the dogs. If your dog takes medication, it must come in the original bottle prescribed by your veterinarian, with clear instructions for administration.
WILL MY DOG GET AN INTRODUCTION TO PLAY GROUP
All new dogs participating in play group will receive a slow introduction to help them feel comfortable. Our play groups are divided by size, age, and temperament to help create groups that are a good fit for each dog. Every dog is different, so we take the time to see how they respond to new dogs, new people, and their surroundings. Our goal is to make sure play group is a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience for your dog.
WHAT IF MY DOG DOESN'T LIKE PLAY GROUP?
Not every dog enjoys playing in a group, and that is completely okay! If group play is not the right fit for your dog, they can still enjoy time outside throughout the day in one of our individual yards. Your dog will have their own designated yard where they can get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the other dogs while remaining safely separated.
